Giving a talk on local food at Gardens
BLUEGREENPROJECT is Scott Dubois, a freelance gardener, designer and educator living in beautiful Austin, Texas USA. Scott specializes in organic edible/native plant gardening and media, marketing and development for non-profit groups and has worked on a variety of projects including the Kinky Friedman for Governor Campaign and the Teaching Garden, an Austin based non-profit working in school gardens. He graduated from the University of Texas and is a certified Permaculture designer. He is one of the founders of Urban Homestead and maintains fruitrescue.org in his free time.
Currently, his time is spent tending the vegetable garden at Fonda San Miguel Restaurant (Tuesdays+Thursdays) and teaching gardening to K-5 students. You can learn more about his services here.
