They aren't too fond of us just yet, but quail are relatively easy to take care of and very efficient egg (and meat) producers. ]]></description>

It stylishly weaves together the whole (often sad) story of our food into a more approachable format than say, <a href="http://www.michaelpollan.com/omnivore.php">The Omnivore's Dilemma</a>, so that a much wider audience will know the high cost of cheap food. ]]></description>
